The October Support Group was another Patient Driven session which continued to deliver great outcomes for attendees. Our Patient Driven sessions are one of the key factors in the continued success of our Support Group in general, which has been operating for the best part of 20 years. There is not another group like it in Australia, which can match it for longevity.

Summary
This evening's group brought together both new and long-term patients, fostering a supportive community atmosphere. Discussions centred on sustaining weight maintenance and recognising the importance of both peer and professional support.
Several participants shared psychosocial challenges, receiving encouragement and understanding from fellow members.
The blend of lived experience and professional guidance contributed to a positive, reflective session.
